We saw a free screening of this last night. While I understand why it would be one of those movies that is nominated for lots of awards (the acting is terrific), I just in general didn’t like it. But maybe that’s the point. The not liking of it. Who really knows? I’ll have to watch the director’s commentary or maybe I should read the book.
