Andrew and I were looking for a relatively short upbeat move to start watching at 11:45pm that hopefully at least one of us hadn’t seen.  So, this was it.  I saw it as a kid and LOVED it, but remember almost nothing about it and he had never seen it.  It was pretty ridiculous, but we both know eactly why it’s so great for kids.  It opens with one of the characters in a lawyer’s office basically about to tell the story of what happened, but never comes back around to that in any way, which is pretty confusing, and has a disgusting monster in it for no reason.  Kurt Russell seems to be doing a John Wayne impression and is pretty funny and Kim Catrall has basically just come a long way, let’s just put it that way.  Doesn’t hold up exactly, but will hold your attention, that’s for sure.  I’d love to be the person writing this insane movie, or at least describing the events of it in a pitch meeting.
